The RJ-11 is a connector used mostly to link telephone networks. It is small in size and has four contacts to support 6P4C. It is the most globally available connector for the connection of conventional telephone sets, where usually only the two central wires are usually used for a single line or telephone pair. And the four wires are used only for special telephony devices that use double-line or the two telephone pairs. Once crimped to the cable, it is almost impossible to disassemble the RJ-11 without causing it to become unusable.
